10-22-08 Meeting Minutes

The October 2008 meeting of Keweenaw PFLAG was held on
Wednesday, Oct. 22 at the Alice and Ted Soldan home.  A pot
luck dinner was shared starting at 6:00.
Following the dinner, VP Ted Soldan called the meeting to order.
Present were Ted and Alice, Al and Shirley, Amlan, and Sidney.  

The first order of business was to discuss the design for the
Keweenaw PFLAG tshirts.  Several ideas were tossed around.  
Sidney submitted a pencil drawing that encompassed the ideas
of the group, and Ted offered to computerize it.
There was some discussion about our chapter kicking in some
money so we could offer tshirts to Pride folks at a discount.  

Next the group watched the OUCH! video and had a lively
discussion about it afterwards.  

We decided it would be good to watch, "A Love to Hide" at a
future meeting.

Meeting adjourned at 8:30.
